Fitness Pursuits

Providence Hall is dedicated to the education of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. We understand the body as a gift from God. The development and preservation of that gift is therefore a sacred responsibility. Our intention is to provide students with unique experiences in fulfilling that responsibility.

In lieu of a traditional PE class, students participate in two out of the three seasons (Fall, Winter, or Spring) by joining a sports team or participating in a two days per week afterschool Fitness Pursuit such as surfing, pilates, ultimate frisbee, soccer, and golf.
