The end of the school year is an exciting time to celebrate the successful completion of academic work and new adventures on the horizon. The entire Providence Hall community enjoys this time of recognizing and honoring our seniors in particular. We applaud their growth and accomplishments as Providence Hall graduates and send them off to colleges and universities across the country with prayers for God’s blessing and with our best wishes for continued success.

Academic and Achievement Awards Night

An all-school ceremony recognizing top academic performances and other achievements of the 2012-2013 school year. The evening will conclude with special recognition of our eighth grade students as they complete the middle school program and are promoted to the high school.
This event is for all students, grades 7-12, and their families. Light refreshments will be served following the program.

Senior Trip

This trip is a special time for seniors to enjoy their meaningful friendships with classmates, to reflect on their Providence Hall experience, and to create new memories. This year, seniors will enjoy several outdoor adventure activities in the Big Bear Lake area, including a zipline tour, alpine slides, rock climbing, and camping.

COMMENCEMENT

All are welcome to attend this joyful, worshipful celebration of the members of our Senior Class as they receive their diplomas and commence the next stage of their educations. The speaker this year is Randal S. Clark, President of the Providence Hall Board of Directors and CEO of Axia Payments.
Doors will open at 3:30 pm for seating. Tickets are not required. Please be mindful that seating is limited and those arriving after 3:50 pm may not find a seat in the sanctuary.
Parking at Montecito Covenant is limited. Please carpool if at all possible. Overflow parking is available at Westmont College, a 10-minute walk from the church.
A reception will follow the ceremony on the church grounds.
All seniors, flag bearers, and other students participating in the commencement ceremony, including Chorale singers, should be at Montecito Covenant Church by 3 pm.
A professional photographer will take at least one photo of each graduate as they receive their diploma. He is available to photograph family groups after the ceremony. Parents will have the opportunity to view and purchase photos online, for a reasonable fee. Either individual prints or a DVD of all the high-resolution images may be purchased. A link to the online gallery will be provided a week or two after graduation.
