Performing arts include music and drama offerings.
Performing artists have their choice of two chorale ensembles. They present a worshipful Lessons and Carols program at Christmas, a spring concert, and perform at school and community events and in choral festivals.
Music courses offered at Providence Hall include:
- Foundations of Music 7 & 8
- Providence Hall Chorale
- Chamber Ensemble
- Laudate Youth Chorale (open to community members in grades 5-8)
Theater is offered as a club activity, with a professional director from the Santa Barbara theater community. Past productions have included a fully-staged musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; as well as dramatic performances of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, and Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest.
