College Counseling

Providence Hall’s college counseling program works in tandem with our mission as a college preparatory school. We have a dedicated college counselor on our faculty to walk alongside students and their families for four years, educating, counseling, and mentoring them through the exploration of and application to colleges and universities throughout the country.

In an effort to assist students in this process, we provide access to a number of opportunities to aid them in their journey. We plan annual college trips around the country, beginning in the freshman year of high school. In addition to our college trips and hosted college fairs, we hold several grade-specific college information nights for parents and students on topics including the college application process, writing the college essay, and applying for financial assistance.

The college decision-making process is a major life transition and ought to be weighed heavily. Our goal is to equip each student with the necessary resources to make the most informed decision possible. At the end of a student’s senior year, he or she will be well prepared and have many attractive options for college education.
