TUITION ASSISTANCE & SCHOLARSHIPS
From its founding, Providence Hall has always desired for the school to reflect the larger Santa Barbara community. It is our goal that all families desiring a Providence Hall education will have one. Therefore, we have developed a need-based tuition assistance and scholarship program to benefit qualified families.
We encourage you to allow the Financial Aid Office to work with you to make this distinctive educational opportunity and very unique community in Santa Barbara available to your family. We look forward to sharing the experiences of students whose families thought they could never provide a Providence Hall education for their children, and now they have graduated and are in college!

SPIRITUAL LIFE
As a Christian college preparatory school with the highest of academic standards, Providence Hall is committed to nurturing the life of the spirit both in and out of the classroom as well as to developing the life of the mind. Intentional opportunities for the spiritual growth abound, from mentoring relationships with individual members of the faculty, Bible study and prayer groups, guest speakers, the integration of faith and learning across the curriculum, and corporate worship through the Providence Hall community.
A weekly student-led chapel program encourages the development of worship as a regular practice, and the Foundations of the Christian Faith course provides a rich education in the beliefs, history, and current state of the Christian church worldwide.
Providence Hall students are encouraged to ask questions about their faith and to develop and “own” their faith. They are able to accomplish this as a result of open and honest dialogue within a community of mature Christians who can help them respond to the big questions on faith.

COLLEGE COUNSELING
Providence Hall’s college counseling program works in tandem with the school’s college preparatory mission. We walk alongside students, and their families for four years as we educate, counsel, and mentor them through the exploration and application to colleges and universities throughout the country.
In an effort to assist students in this process, we provide access to a number of opportunities that aid them in their journey. We plan annual college trips around the country, beginning in the 9th grade. In addition to our college trips and hosted college fairs, we hold several grade-specific college information nights for our parents and students designed to educated them on writing the college application, the application process, and applying for financial assistance.
The college decision-making process is a major transition in life and ought to be weighed heavily. Our goal is to equip each student with the necessary resources needed to make the most informed decision possible. At the end of a student’s senior year, he or she will be well prepared and have many good options for the future.
